It was another busy Saturday in college football with teams taking to the field for spring games. It was a chance to take a look at the present and salute some the accomplishments from last season.

Here's a look at some of Saturday's most high-profile spring games:

Michigan State-White 14, Green 11

Michigan State begins life without Connor Cook. Tyler O'Connor, the fifth-year senior, has emerged as the man who'll slide into the quarterback role. O'Connor threw for 138 yards and a touchdown in the game. The program also honored the 2015 senior class at halftime - the winningest squad in program history.

Wisconsin-Cardinal 28, White 22

Badgers quarterback Alex Hornibrook and running back George Rushing were impressive on the day. Hornibrook completed 4 of 8 passes for 138 yards with two touchdown connections with Rushing, including this 43-yard hookup.

Arkansas-White 39, Red 21

The Razorback defense, led by Deatrich Wise and Jeremiah Ledbetter, was the story. Team White only allowed 49 yards and three first downs in the scrimmage. Ledbetter and Deatrich had two sacks each on the day. One of the highlights was former Razorback Clint Stoerner recreating the 1999 touchdown to Anthony Lucas that upset Tennessee.

West Virginia-White 49, Blue 46

Quarterback Skyler Howard had a nice afternoon, completing 18-of-26 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns. His only mistake came on an interception by cornerback Antonio Crawford, who returned it for a score. The Mountaineers held their practice at the Greenbrier Resort.

Iowa-White 20, Black 18

The defense was the highlight on the day for Hawkeyes fans. Despite C.J. Beathard watching from the sidelines with a shoulder injury, the defense made two interceptions in the game. Michael Ojemudia had a pick-6, while Desmond King had the other.
