Mississippi State lands 4-star linebacker Tyler Dunning

Mississippi State obtained a verbal commitment Wednesday from four-star linebacker Tyler Dunning.

Dunning, 6-foot-1 and 239 pounds, is pegged by ESPN as the No. 10 linebacker and No. 231 overall recruit on the ESPN 300 for 2017.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native passed up scholarship offers from Cincinnati, LSU, Miami, and Tennessee, among other programs.
