Boston College picks up where it left off with 6-2 score in spring game

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston College offense is already in midseason form.

After finishing 125th in offense last season, the Eagles picked up right where they left off last year on Saturday, wowing the fans in attendance for their spring game with a 6-2 scoreline that didn't feature a touchdown.

Those who made the trip to Alumni Stadium were treated to a plethora of punts and watched the maroon squad go ahead for good with an exciting 37-yard field goal as the first half expired.

Even with the best defense in the nation last season, Steve Addazio's team went winless in the ACC. It's certainly too early to panic, but if the offense doesn't improve greatly, it could be another long season for Boston College fans.
