Oklahoma squeaks past TCU to keep Big 12 title hopes alive

Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Oklahoma's Big 12 title hopes are still alive, at least for a few hours.

Damien Williams ran for 115 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns, while Landry Jones threw for 244 yards with a pair of scores as the 12th-ranked Sooners held on for a 24-17 win over TCU.

Oklahoma (10-2, 8-1 Big 12) closed the regular season with its fifth straight win and must now root for arch-rival Texas to beat Kansas State on Saturday night. A Kansas State loss would give the Sooners the outright Big 12 title and a guaranteed BCS bowl berth.

TCU (7-5, 4-5) was coming off a 20-13 win at Texas on Thanksgiving night, but closed its first season in the Big 12 with a losing record. The Horned Frogs were 0-4 in conference play at home.
