Taylor Motter sat alone in the outfield, but no one at Tropicana Field was happier than him.
As Coastal Carolina battled Arizona for its first ever College World Series championship, Motter, the only Chanticleer alumni on an active MLB roster, sat in silence.
When Coastal Carolina won the championship and went crazy on the field, the Tampa Bay Rays outfielder went wild by himself as he watched the win on the big screen.
Motter spent three seasons with Coastal Carolina from 2009-11.
