Memphis' Avery Woodson to transfer

Avery Woodson is on his way out of Memphis.

The Tigers sophomore announced on Sunday he will transfer out of the program and continue his collegiate career elsewhere.

Woodson enrolled at Memphis after a season at East Mississippi Community College, and spent two years with the Tigers. He averaged 9.4 points in over 26 minutes per game this season, while shooting 43 percent from beyond the arc.
