Portland has fired head coach Eric Reveno after 10 seasons in charge of the program, the team announced Tuesday.

"I would like to thank coach Reveno for his service, dedication, and contributions to the university over the past 10 years," athletic director Scott Leykam said. "He has represented the university and the athletic department with great class on and off the court."

Reveno was 140-178 during his time with the Pilots, who went 12-20 this season. He had only three winning campaigns with the team, and Portland never reached the NCAA tournament during his tenure.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity given to me here at the University of Portland and will always cherish the relationships built with players, faculty, and staff over the years," Reveno said. "We strived to do things the right way, help players be their best, and win a championship. We were successful in two out of three areas. I believe the program is left on very solid ground and wish Portland tremendous success in the future."

The 50-year-old became the third WCC head coach to be fired in March, after Santa Clara let go of Kerry Keating and San Francisco parted ways with Rex Walters.
