Kentucky is still the nation's No. 1 team in the latest edition of The AP Top 25 thanks to a perfect 6-0 record.

Undefeated Xavier is the big winner this week, jumping 11 spots from No. 23 to No. 12.

Riding a 6-0 start, Syracuse broke into the rankings in a big way, going from unranked to No. 14 after a convincing win over No. 18 Texas A&M.

The top 10 features the same teams, except for Gonzaga, which was replaced by Virginia. Kansas moved up to No. 4, flipping positions with Iowa State, while Oklahoma did the same with Duke.

West Virginia, Providence, Louisville, and Baylor joined Syracuse as new members in the rankings.

Arizona and Miami had notable drops, falling from No. 11 and No. 15 to No. 19 and No. 21, respectively.
