Memphis' Kedren Johnson could be out for season with shoulder injury

David Butler II / USA TODAY Sports

Memphis guard Kedren Johnson may miss the entire 2015-16 season with a shoulder injury, according to CBS Sports' Gary Parrish.

Johnson's options are to play through the pain and avoid surgery, or to go under the knife and end his senior campaign.

The injury news comes at a bad time, as Memphis missed out on ESPN Top 100 point guard Jaylen Fisher, who passed on his hometown Tigers and committed to UNLV on Wednesday.

Last season, Johnson averaged 6.7 points and 2.7 assists per game.
