Former Missouri forward Montaque Gill-Caesar transfers to San Diego State

Montaque Gill-Caesar is heading to the West Coast.
The forward announced Thursday that he will transfer to San Diego State, after spending one year at Missouri.
Gill-Caesar was the 41st-ranked recruit in the 2014 class, according to ESPN. He averaged 9.1 points per game in his freshman season with the Tigers.
After sitting out the 2015-2016 campaign in compliance with NCAA transfer, rules, he'll still have three years of eligibility remaining with San Diego State. The Aztecs have been enjoying a revival of sorts since 2010, making the tournament in each of the past six years.
