Syracuse and St. John's have agreed to a two-game home-and-home basketball series, the schools announced Monday.

The first game of the series will be played at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 13.

The programs will reunite for the concluding matchup at Syracuse's Carrier Dome sometime in 2016-17.

Syracuse has a 51-38 advantage in the all-time series against St. John's, which dates to the 1911-12 campaign.

St. John's won the most recent matchup 69-57 in Dec. 2014, snapping a nine-game losing streak to the Orange.
