Report: South Florida lands Penn State transfer Geno Thorpe

Geno Thorpe may be taking his talents to South Florida.

The former Penn State sophomore guard has reportedly pledged to join the Bulls, according to the Recruit Scoop's Alex Kline.

Thorpe averaged 8.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 24.3 minutes last season for the Nittany Lions, shooting 83.9 percent from the charity stripe.

His intent to transfer from Penn State was announced in early June.
