Arrests

Anthony Jennings, QB; Maquedius Bain, DL; Dwayne Thomas, DB, LSU: Jennings, Bain, and Thomas were suspended indefinitely following an arrest by LSU police.

Thomas was booked on charges on unauthorized entry and simple burglary. Jennings and Bain were issued arrest warrants for unauthorized entry.

Simple burglary is punishable by a maximum 12 years in prison, with or without hard labor, and a fine of no more than $2,000. *LA Rev. Stat. § 14:62

Unauthorized entry carries a sentence of no more than six years in jail, with or without hard labor, and a maximum fine of $1,000. *LA Rev. Stat. § 14:62.3

Diddy arrested after allegedly assaulting UCLA strength coach: Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats, and one count of battery by the University of California Police Department after a confrontation with a UCLA strength coach.

According to reports, coach Sal Alosi kicked Combs' son, Justin, out of a workout. Diddy went to Alosi's office a few hours later and lunged at the coach, tackling him. After the two were separated, Diddy allegedly grabbed a kettlebell and swung it around.

Soso Jamabo, RB, UCLA: Jamabo, a four-star running back, was reportedly never indicted following an arrest in April for evading officers.

Jamabo has enrolled at UCLA.

Former Vanderbilt players convicted of rape released from jail: A mistrial was declared in the rape convictions of Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey due to juror misconduct and their convictions set aside, allowing them to be released on bond Wednesday.

Vandenburg and Batey were accused with two other players of assaulting an unconscious female student in a dorm room in June 2013.

Prosecutors said they will seek a new trial. The judge ordered the pair to wear GPS monitoring devices.

Suspended UCLA coach reinstated: Bruins offensive line coach Adrian Klemm has been reinstated after serving a suspension for a violation of NCAA rules.
