Oregon gets commitment from JUCO player of the year

Steve Dykes-US PRESSWIRE

The Oregon Ducks continue to stock up on Canadians this spring. Less than two weeks after securing point guard Dylan Ennis, a Villanova transfer, the Ducks have received a commitment from forward Chris Boucher.

The 6-foot-10 Boucher, a Montreal native, was the National Junior College Player of the Year this past season at Northwest College in Wyoming. He averaged 22.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.7 blocks on 58 percent shooting - 44.4 percent from three-point range.

On top of the additions of Boucher and Ennis, Oregon's recruiting class is ranked No. 15 in the nation by Rivals. It's led by five-star guard Tyler Dorsey, four-star forward Trevor Manuel and four-star point guard Kendall Small.
