No. 10 Louisville gave head coach Rick Pitino his first career victory over No. 13 North Carolina  after defeating the Tar Heels in overtime Saturday.

Junior forward Montrezl Harrell and sophomore guard Terry Rozier each put up 22 points for the Cardinals on route to a 78-68 overtime victory that was anything but easy.

North Carolina came out guns blazing as junior guard Marcus Paige and freshman forward-guard Justin Jackson helped give their team a 36-25 lead after the first half.

Louisville came back strong in the second half as Harrell unleashed his wraith on the Tar Heels. The Cardinals came storming back and eventually tied the game 60-60 to send it into overtime where Rozier and senior guard Chris Jones sealed the deal for Louisville.

Louisville will now face No. 23 Miami on Tuesday while North Carolina gets set to take on No. 2 Virginia on Monday.
