Michigan State has landed one of the best shooters in the 2015 Class, as four-star guard Matthew McQuaid has decided on the Spartans.
McQuaid previously committed to SMU in May, but reopened his recruitment a couple of months later. In addition to Michigan State, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard also took an official visit to Creighton.
McQuaid shot better than 45 percent from three-point range on the Nike EYBL circuit, where he averaged over 15 points per game.
The Duncanville, Texas, native is the 67th-ranked recruit in the Class of 2015 according to 247Sports.
McQuaid joins five-star power forward Deyonta Davis and three-star shooting guard Kyle Ahrens in Tom Izzo's 2015 recruiting class.
