NCAA Game Summary - Army at Bucknell

Lewisburg, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyle Wilson knocked down a jumper with 13 seconds left in regulation to lead the fifth-seeded Army Black Knights over the fourth-seeded Bucknell Bison, 72-71, in quarterfinal action of the Patriot League Tournament at Sojka Pavilion.

Wilson finished with 19 points to lead the Black Knights (15-15), who advance to the semifinals Saturday night to face top-seeded Boston University in Boston. Dylan Cox added 11 points and Kevin Ferguson filled up the stat sheet with 10 points, eight rebounds and five blocks in the win.

For the Bison (16-14) Chris Hass led the way with 18 points, while Cameron Ayers finished with 12 points and Dom Hoffman scored 10.

Bucknell was hot from the floor to start the game, connecting on 60 percent of its field goal tries, including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, as the Bison had a 39-36 edge at the intermission. Army stayed close by knocking down 7-of-15 from 3-point range as part of a 48.3 percent shooting performance in the first half.

After intermission, the Black Knights continued to be effective from deep, making 4-of-8 from the perimeter and shooting 48.4 percent overall in the second half. Bucknell struggled from the field in the second period, making just 34.4 percent of its field goal tries, including 2-of-6 from 3-point range. Trailing by seven, 70-63, with just over two minutes to play, the Black Knights scored seven straight points in little over a minute to knot the score at 70-70 with 1:03 left on the clock. The Bison made one of two free throws to go back up by one with 35 second remaining to set the stage for Wilson's game- winner. Hass had a chance to win it for the Bison, but his 3-point try at the buzzer was off the mark.

The Bison had the edge on the glass, outrebounding the Black Knights, 42-27. Army outscored Bucknell in the paint, 32-24.
