NCAA Game Summary - Bucknell at Army

West Point, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Kyle Wilson scored 28 points as the Army Black Knights pulled out a 74-67 win over the Bucknell Bison in Patriot League action at Christl Arena.

Wilson shot 6-of-11 from the floor, but a more impressive 14-of-18 at the free-throw line for the Black Knights (9-8, 5-1 PL) as they won for the sixth time in seven games. Josh Herbeck played a huge role off the bench as he converted all six of his 3-point attempts, finishing with 18 points in just 19 minutes of action. Tanner Omlid pitched in with seven points, 10 rebounds and four steals for the hosts as well.

Brian Fitzpatrick was a perfect 8-of-8 from the floor as he tallied 17 points for Bucknell (8-9, 3-3), followed by Steven Kaspar with 15 points and five of the unit's 10 assists. Ben Brackney came up a rebound shy of a double-double as he dropped in 11 points, while Cameron Ayers responded with 10 points on a mere 4-of-12 shooting from the field.

Army tallied the first points of the contest but didn't get back into the scoring column until the 12:27 mark. Despite the lengthy drought, the Black Knights still shot 52.0 percent from the field in the period, including 5-of-9 behind the 3-point line, en route to a 33-26 advantage at the break.

In the second half Bucknell not only remained in contention, it actually took a three-point lead with 7:26 remaining, but Army refused to go away and regained the advantage and the eventual win.

Bucknell, which shot only 5-of-21 beyond the arc on the afternoon, entered the meeting with a seven-game win streak in the series.
