Report: Duke's Frank Jackson declares for NBA draft without agent

Mark Dolejs-USA TODAY Sports

Frank Jackson will reportedly be Duke's fourth underclassman to declare for the 2017 NBA Draft, but he could return to school, as he won't hire an agent, a source told Jon Rothstein of Fan Rag Sports.

Luke Kennard, Jayson Tatum, and Harry Giles previously declared for the draft, but they all decided to hire agents, thus ending their college eligibility.

Jackson came to Duke as a highly-touted freshman ranked 10th overall in the country for the class of 2016. He was a steady performer in his first season with the Blue Devils, averaging 10.9 points per game while shooting 39.5 percent from beyond the arc.

The 6-foot-4 guard is listed as the 45th-best prospect in the Draft Express top 100, but is likely to return to school after testing the draft process.

Jackson is set for an increased role at Duke next season, as he and Grayson Allen could be the only significant contributors to return from this year's squad.
