Arizona's Allonzo Trier: Will return for junior season

Trier announced Thursday that he will return to Arizona for his junior season, Jeff Goodman of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Upon returning from suspension last season, Trier completely changed the dynamic of the Wildcats and ended up averaging 17.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 46 percent from the field and 39 percent from behind the arc. Trier will once again be Arizona's best player next season and is expected to be a preseason candidate, and potential frontrunner, for National Player of the Year.
