Report: Miles Bridges leaning toward return to Michigan State

Tom Izzo and Michigan State got some big news Wednesday, as freshman forward Miles Bridges is expected to return to school, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Bridges reportedly cancelled agent meetings and will instead meet with Izzo to finalize his decision, Wojnarowski added.

The 6-foot-7 Michigan native averaged 16.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in his freshman season. Bridges shot 48.6 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from behind the arc.

A projected lottery pick, Bridges will try and help Michigan State make it past the opening weekend of next year's NCAA tournament, after the Spartans were knocked out by No. 1 seed Kansas in the second round.
