Arizona's Rawle Alkins to test NBA draft waters

Alkins has entered his name in the upcoming NBA draft but will not sign with an agent.

Analysis:

Coming off a strong freshman season, Alkins will test the draft waters while still leaving open the possibility of heading back to Tuscon for another season in the college ranks. Alkins started 36 of a possible 37 games and averaged 10.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 0.9 steals. Although Alkins was an impressive freshman forward, he may very well end up returning to Arizona depending on what feedback he gets from NBA talent evaluators.
