Kentucky's Malik Monk: Heats up in second half

Monk scored 14 of his 21 points (8-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT) during the win over UCLA on Friday in the Sweet 16.

Analysis:

Monk deferred to De'Aaron Fox in the first half, but heated up just after halftime to push the Wildcats to a lead that they would not relent. In the Elite Eight, Kentucky meets North Carolina again. Monk burned the Tar Heels for a career-high 47 points in the Dec. 17 win.
