Duke's Amile Jefferson: Massive line despite loss

Jefferson had 14 points (4-7 FG, 6-7 FT), 15 rebounds and six blocks across 36 minutes in Sunday's NCAA Tournament loss to South Carolina.

Analysis:

Jefferson has been a staple in the Duke basketball program for five years, so it's only fitting to see him go out on one of his best performances of the year. He didn't get much help in post defense, which led to a Chris Silva double-double, but nobody can knock him for problems caused by a shallow Duke rotation with few experienced big men. Moving forward, Jefferson is likely a fringe NBA option as a 6-9 center, but could find success overseas.
