Michigan State's Nick Ward: Notches double-double in Big 10 Tournament loss

Ward notched a double-double of 15 points (4-9 FG, 7-11 FT), 11 rebounds, along with one steal in 20 minutes during Friday's Big 10 Tournament loss to Minnesota.

Analysis:

Ward had to face the conference's top blocker in Reggie Lynch on Friday, and fared alright. Ward and the Spartan's are projected to be a 10 seed in the Big Dance currently. His next chance to produce will likely either be in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, or if Michigan State gets left out of the field of 68 he'll next play in the first round of the NIT.
