Look: Gonzaga cuts down nets after clinching 1st Final Four berth

Kyle Terada / USA TODAY Sports

It took a while - a really long while - but Gonzaga is finally headed to a Final Four.

The No. 1 Bulldogs took down No. 11 Xavier in the Elite Eight on Saturday to win the West Region and clinch the school's first-ever trip to the Final Four, giving them the long-awaited opportunity to cut down the nets.

Josh Perkins, who had 11 points in the winning effort versus the Musketeers, showed off his clipping skills.

The sophomore from Park Hill, Colorado, took a small souvenir.

Przemek Karnowski made sure not to leave a thread of nylon.

Mark Few came into the evening as the winningest coach in college basketball history without a Final Four on his resume, but shed that label with the 83-59 victory.

The Zags will get either South Carolina or Florida in the Final Four.
