Kentucky's Isaiah Briscoe: Plays through ankle injury

Briscoe (ankle) had nine points (3-6 FG, 3-5 FT) and eight rebounds across 26 minutes in Saturday's victory over Florida.

Analysis:

Briscoe continues to be an effective all-around player for the Wildcats, and his contributions were needed even more Saturday in the absence of De'Aaron Fox (knee). Though the team only amassed 13 total assists without their starting point guard, they made up for it on the glass, out-rebounding the Gators by a total of 48-30. Briscoe and center Edrice Adebayo were a major part of that, combining for 23 total boards. Though Briscoe missed practice time this week due to an ankle ailment, the sophomore looks good to go moving forward.
