Arizona's Kadeem Allen: Expected to play Thursday

Coach Sean Miller said Monday that he expects Allen (finger) to play Thursday against USC, Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star reports.

Analysis:

Allen has missed the past two games due to a dislocated pinkie, leaving Parker Jackson-Cartwright to handle point guard duties for the Wildcats. While Jackson-Cartwright has been effective in his new role, Allen's expected return Thursday will put the Wildcats back at full strength in the backcourt. More updates will likely be provided as tipoff approaches, but all signs point to Allen returning to action Thursday.
