Valparaiso nails miraculous long-range shot that doesn't count

Valparaiso is doing its best to earn a berth in this year's NCAA Tournament, sitting first in the Horizon Conference. They'll have no problem doing so if shots like the one Micah Bradford unleashed on Sunday start falling with regularity

Leading by eight just seconds before halftime against Detroit Mercy, Bradford heaved a shot from near his own 3-point line as the buzzer sounded, wildly overshooting his target in the process.

However, the ball hit the top of the shot clock, bounced straight up in the air, then rattled off the front of the rim, off the backboard, and in for an absolutely incredible basket.

Sadly, officials ruled Bradford did not get the shot off in time, thus negating the basket.
