Michigan State received a big blow to its dwindling tournament hopes, as senior guard Eron Harris was stretchered off the court after injuring his leg against Purdue.

Harris went up for a layup, but when he came back down, his lower leg appeared to snap, making almost a 90-degree angle with the rest of his leg, leading to Harris screaming out in pain.

Michigan State officially described it as a right knee injury.

The senior was averaging 11.1 points and three rebounds, while shooting almost 40 percent from behind the arc in his second season in East Lansing, after beginning his career with West Virginia.
