Watch: Shaq drills 3-pointer in return to LSU

Stephen Lew / USA TODAY Sports

Shaquille O'Neal returned to LSU on Saturday as the Tigers celebrated their 1991 SEC championship team, and the big man did at halftime what nobody could've predicted. That's right, he hit a 3-ball on his first and only attempt.

"Diesel," who was one of the most dominant players the sport has ever seen but was notorious for his shooting struggles, received the loudest ovation from the LSU faithful as the team was being introduced during halftime.

Unfortunately, Shaq couldn't help LSU snap its lengthy losing streak, which ran to 11 games after falling 78-70 to Arkansas.
