Texas' Andrew Jones: Continues strong play off bench

Jones led the Longhorns with 16 points (5-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and added eight assists, four rebounds, and two steals in a close loss to Georgia on Saturday.

Analysis:

Jones has now scored at least 15 points in every one of his last five games, all while coming off the bench. During that stretch the freshman is shooting 50 percent from the field, 80 percent from the free-throw line, and 45 percent from deep. His eight assists also were a career high. The Longhorns will look to get back on track this Wednesday when they host Texas Tech as they have lost six of their last seven games.
