ESPN offers to continue NCAA tournament picks with Trump

Donald Trump officially became the President of the United States on Friday, and with that office comes the great responsibility of picking an NCAA tournament bracket on ESPN.

Barack Obama annually filled out his bracket picks on ESPN during his 8-year run as President, but it's unclear whether Trump will continue that tradition.

"At the appropriate time we will explore the bracket opportunity if he's interested," ESPN spokesperson Josh Krulewitz said to the Sporting News.

Trump has well-known ties to the sporting community, especially in golf, with numerous PGA Tour events having been played on his courses over the years. He's also garnered the support of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick, and quarterback Tom Brady throughout his campaign, and recently named New York Jets owner Woody Johnson as the ambassador to the United Kingdom.

It appears we will have to wait until March to find out if he's interested in taking a stab at picking a perfect bracket.
