Texas' Kendal Yancy: Scoreless in return

Yancy (ankle) was held scoreless in 10 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's loss to Baylor. He did add one rebound and one assist.

Analysis:

The senior returned from a four-game absence Tuesday but his impact was minimal as coach Shaka Smart gave him limited minutes off the bench. Freshman Jacob Young got his second straight start Tuesday but struggled in his own right with just two points over 27 minutes. With that, Yancy could see a healthier allotment of minutes when the Longhorns return to action Saturday against Kansas.
