Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

NAIA Keiser coach Rollie Massimino won his 800th game Wednesday night, defeating Trinity Baptist 77-74.

The 82-year-old began coaching in 1969 with Stony Brook, with stops at Villanova, UNLV, Cleveland State, and Keiser, where he's coached since 2006.

Massimino is best remembered for leading Villanova to the national title in 1985, when the Wildcats upset Patrick Ewing and Georgetown 66-64.

He becomes just the ninth coach to achieve 800 wins in a minimum of 10 Division I seasons, according to ESPN Stats.
