Duke's Jayson Tatum: Unlikely to face Spartans

Tatum (foot) is expected to remain sidelined Tuesday against Michigan State, CBSSports.com reports.

Analysis:

Mike Krzyzewski made the announcement that Tatum, Harry Giles (knee) and Marques Bolden (lower leg) would not play Tuesday immediately following Duke's last game against Appalachian State, despite the trio having been in uniform and taking part in pregame warmups. It's becoming a broken record at this point, and Duke has not really let out any info regarding Tatum's health. It's a guessing game as to when any of the freshmen will play, so much so it wouldn't be surprising to see them simply go to the scorer's table without a prior announcement. As such, Tatum obviously remains benched until he plays in a game.
