Ben Simmons tweets about not going to class at LSU

It appears Ben Simmons didn't exactly put the "student" in "student-athlete" during his one year at LSU.
The former Tigers star and No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft tweeted Thursday about his attendance in classes - or lack thereof - while responding to a user about an unrelated topic:

While he posted monster numbers in his lone college campaign, Simmons was removed from the Wooden Award ballot because he didn't meet the academic requirements. He was also disciplined by the team on at least one occasion because of a lackluster performance in the classroom.
