Duke's Harry Giles: Star freshman out six week due to knee surgery

Giles underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Monday, and is expected to be out for six weeks, Jeff Goodman of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Giles, a top prospect widely expected to be a one-and-done player for Duke, continues to deal with knee issues. He tore his ACL during his senior year of high school, but was expected to be ready to go at the beginning of the season. He could be ready to go by the beginning of the season, but drafting him is significantly risky. Monitoring his health and development as the season comes closer is however worth it, as he still has breakout star potential.
