Michigan State nets 4-star forward Xavier Tillman

Tom Izzo's newest toy is four-star forward Xavier Tillman, who gave his commitment Friday to Michigan State and its legendary coach.
Tillman, ranked 75th on the ESPN 100, chose the Spartans over scholarship offers from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State, and others.

The 6-foot-9, 250-pound native of Grand Rapids, Mich., is the second ESPN 100 player to pledge to Michigan State in 2017, joining fellow forward Jaren Jackson.
Tillman is the No. 2 recruit in his home state, with only undeclared small forward Brian Bowen ahead of him on the ESPN 100.
