Ed Szczepanski / USA TODAY Sports

Eran Ganot is being rewarded for a solid 2015-16 campaign.

The Hawaii head coach is receiving a two-year contract extension, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. The deal will keep Ganot with the program through the 2019-20 season.

Hawaii went an impressive 28-6 in 2015-16 during Ganot's first year with the team, making it to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Prior to Ganot's arrival, the Rainbow Warriors hadn't made the NCAA tournament since 2001-02.
