NBA scouts hoping to see Duke basketball players will have to play by head coach Mike Krzyzewski's rules.

Krzyzewski has elected to close his practices this season. Instead, scouts will only be allowed to observe practices on two pro days, The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Duke's first pro day, scheduled for Oct. 19, will include skills and drills. The second date, Oct. 25, will feature an officiated scrimmage, but that day coincides with the first game of the NBA regular season.

This will be Duke's first attempt at the pro-day format. Other schools like Kentucky run similar systems.

NBA executives are still free to scout Krzyzewski's players during games.
