Report: Former Minnesota PG Dorsey transfers to Colorado State

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

After deciding to leave Minnesota in April, Kevin Dorsey has transferred to Colorado State, sources told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Dorsey, Dupree McBrayer, and Nate Mason were suspended for the final four games of the season after a sex video was released on Dorsey's social media accounts in February.

The 6-foot, 185-pound point guard averaged 6.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in just over 18 minutes of playing time.

Dorsey, a four-star recruit, will have to sit out one year to comply with the NCAA transfer policy and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

The Rams finished with a 18-16 record and lost to Fresno State in the Mountain West semifinal in 2015-16.
