A trio of seniors were selected in the NBA draft lottery for the first time in a full decade, according to ESPN Stats.

Buddy Hield of Oklahoma, drafted sixth overall by the New Orleans Pelicans, Taurean Prince of Baylor, drafted 12th overall by the Atlanta Hawks, and Denzel Valentine of Michigan State, drafted 14th overall by the Chicago Bulls, represented the senior class in the lottery during Thursday night's 2016 NBA Draft.

Meanwhile, several one-and-done products - like Skal Labissiere, Malachi Richardson, and Henry Ellensen - were left waiting as the lottery portion of the draft came to a close.

So, kids, stay in school.
