Report: DePaul's Tommy Hamilton won't return to program

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

DePaul's top 3-point shooter looks to be leaving the program, as a source told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports that Tommy Hamilton won't return to the team next season.

Hamilton's plans for a potential transfer are unknown, but his loss would certainly hurt the Blue Demons' frontcourt in the immediate future.

The 6-foot-11, 255-pound center is one of the top shooting big men in the country, making 45 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc. He posted averages of 8.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game during his junior season.

With Hamilton appearing to be on his way out, and Myke Henry departing via graduation, DePaul's top returning rebounder is guard Eli Cain, who averaged just three boards per contest last season.
