If Maryland is rebuilding, it's doing it in a hurry.

One day after star point guard Melo Trimble withdrew from the 2016 NBA Draft and announced he'll return to Maryland for his junior year, the Terps landed a commitment from four-star forward Justin Jackson.

Jackson was one of the top ranked remaining players from the 2016 recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-7 small forward comes to College Park by way of Scarborough, Ont., in Canada.

Jackson passed up offers from Arizona, Florida, Indiana, and other schools to select Maryland. He was formerly committed to UNLV.
