Another day, another high-profile transfer headed to Florida to play for Mike White.

A day after the Gators added graduate transfer Canyon Barry from Charleston, Virginia Tech transfer Jalen Hudson told ESPN's Jeff Goodman he's joining Florida.

Hudson announced plans to transfer in April, following a sophomore season in which the 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard scored 8.4 points and added 2.3 rebounds in 20 minutes per game.

As per NCAA transfer regulations, Hudson will be forced to sit out the 2016-17 season before becoming eligible. The Gators will be hopeful Hudson can replicate the success of previous Virginia Tech transfer Dorian Finney-Smith.

The 6-foot-8 forward made the move from the Hokies to the Gators in 2012, and after playing a key role off the bench early in his career, led the team with 14.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in his senior campaign last season.
