Texas A&M ranks No. 1 in 2014-15 athletics revenue
The numbers are out and Texas A&M leads the way for athletic revenue in the 2014-15 academic year.
USA Today's annual list of revenue and expenses for Division I schools finds the SEC university generated a whopping $192,608,876 in revenue, just over $9 million more than in-state rival Texas. That figure represents a $73,133,004 increase over the previous year for the Aggies.
A pair of Big Ten schools follow with Ohio State and Michigan ranked third and fourth. Alabama rounds out the top five.
There were 24 programs that generated over $100 million in total revenue for the 2014-15 season, including 10 from the SEC.

Washington State ranks the lowest among Power 5 conference schools, sitting 53rd on the list with $54,112,604 in revenue.
USA Today's data is based on reports collected from more than 225 Division I public schools, which have an obligation to release the data. It doesn't include private schools or institutions that are covered by a state exemption.
