NCAA Game Summary - Wright State at Cleveland State

Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Jerran Young scored 10 points off the bench as the Wright State Raiders squeezed out a 49-46 win over the Cleveland State Vikings in Horizon League action at the Wolstein Center.

Young converted 4-of-9 shots from the floor for the Raiders (11-9, 3-2 HL), but he was the only player on the team to score in double figures. Matt Vest led the starters with nine points, while Cole Darling came up with eight rebounds and seven points, but shot just 1-of-9 from the field as the team won for the third time in the last four outings.

The Vikings (11-8, 3-2) were paced by Jon Harris who recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, followed by Bryn Forbes with 14 points and Trey Lewis 10 boards as the team bowed for the second time in three tries.

Both teams had a hard time finding the basket in the first half, but it was Cleveland State that fell behind by six at the break, 29-23, after shooting a disappointing 8-of-25 from the floor.

After hitting on 40.7 percent from the floor through the first 20 minutes of action, WSU turned around and connected on a miserable 25.9 percent after intermission, but still the visitors held on for the victory.

Wright State, which led by as many as 13 points in the second half, shot a mere 1-of-10 behind the 3-point line in the period.
