Jones is a versatile player who has played both forward positions in the past. His long wingspan and solid rebounding make him a viable power forward option, while his shooting range could see him stretch the floor as a small forward.

However, with his versatility comes the question of a true position, and some feel he's too small to justify his listing as a four.

Derek Bodner of Draft Express writes that Jones "does a good job of crashing the boards at every opportunity, fighting for position early and with a quick second jump, has good touch around the basket. These two traits more than anything are extremely positive traits to possess when he makes the transition at the next level to less of a featured role."

Jones is expected to be an early-to-mid second round selection.
