Cavaliers' Kyle Korver: Ruled out Sunday vs. Lakers

Korver (foot) will remain sidelined for Sunday's game against the Lakers, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports. "There's still something in there," Korver said. "It's getting better but it hasn't come along like I'd hoped. I should've stopped playing on it a week and a half earlier. Now that I'm out, we might as well let it come all the way back, but it just hasn't yet."

Analysis:

Korver is slated to miss a seventh straight game Sunday, as he's still dealing with some lingering discomfort in his left foot. It also doesn't sound like the Cavaliers are too confident in having Korver back for Wednesday's tilt with the Nuggets, so additional absences shouldn't be surprising moving forward. Coach Ty Lue mentioned that Korver would need to put in a full practice Tuesday before being cleared, so unless that happens, Korver's return will continue to be delayed.
